The Energy Loan is a Fannie Mae special product developed to provide homeowners with an unsecured finance option for specified energy efficient home improvements. In the interest of consumer protection, Fannie Mae requires its approved lenders to undertake contractor/dealer screening processes. The Energy Loan is available through multiple approved Fannie Mae lenders.
