Consumer Rebate Program
LADWP's Consumer Rebate Program ran from September
2002 through June 2004. Its goal was to promote energy efficient products.
Rebates were available for items such as refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes
washers, room air conditioners, lighting fixtures, thermostats, windows,
whole-house fans, pool pumps and motors, air conditioners, heat pumps and
whole-house evaporative coolers. Viewtech assisted in the design and
development of LADWP's application.
Over 26,000
rebates were issued totaling more than $3 million.
